Kathryn Bigelow ఆస్కార్ పొందిన మొదటి మహిళా దర్శకురాలు. (అవార్డు పొందటం పైన నాకు కొన్ని ఇబ్బండులున్నాయనుకోండి). నాకు అర్థం కాక ఇబ్బంది పెట్టిన విషయమొకటుంది.
ఓ ఆస్కార్ల సందడి మొదలైనప్పటి నుండీ చూస్తున్నాను. ఈ మీడియోకరోళ్ళు కామెరాన్ భార్య, కామెరాన్ భార్య అంటున్నారు కానీ, The Hurt Locker దర్శకురాలు అన్న పాపాన పోలేదు. సమయం వచ్చిన ప్రతిసారీ, అదే కూత. పైగా ఇవాళ అంధ కోతి పత్రికలో హెడ్డింగు చూశాక ఇక ఆగలేక పోయాను. కాలేజ్ లైబ్రరీలో ఉన్నా పెద్దగా నవ్వేసి ఇటు వచ్చాను. ఒక మహిళా ఆస్కార్ని తొలిసారి దర్శకత్వ విభాగంలో పొందటం గొప్ప విషయం. (ఈ సారిచ్చిన ఆస్కార్లలో నాకు నచ్చనివి కొన్ని ఉన్నాయి. అది వేరే విషయం). అసలు విషయం కన్నా, ఆ సినిమా గొప్పతనం కన్నా, కామెరాన్ భార్య అతని పైన విజయం సాధించినట్టు ఈ సోది హెడ్డిన్గులేంటి? Is n't it ridiculing her talent? Why comparing her victory with other trivial things? అంటే ఆ సినిమాలో విషయం లేదనేగా? :D
బిగెలో దర్శకత్వ ప్రతిభ మీద, ఆమె తీసిన సినిమా గురించిన మాటలు ఒక్కటీ కనపడలా. అసలా సినిమాకి అవార్డులోచ్చే దాకా అటు వైపు మన మీడియోకరోళ్ళు కన్నెత్తి కూడా చూడలేదు. ఇప్పుడు మాత్రం బాకాలెక్కువయ్యాయి. అసలా సినిమా గురించిన చర్చ కాకుండా కామెరాన్ భార్య, తొక్కన్నర , మాజీ భర్త పైన మాజీ భార్య విజయం? బిగేలోని అవమానించటం కాదా ఇదంతా? సినిమా నాకూ నచ్చలేదు. నా ఉద్దేశ్యం అవతార్ లేక పోతే ఈ సినిమా గురించి ఆలోచించవచ్చని. కానీ కామెరాన్ భార్య అని పడే పడే ఎత్తి చెప్పటం మాత్రం నా దృష్టిలో బిగెలో ని అవమానించటమే...

This hugely disjointed, unbelievable, and sometimes manipulative movie is one of the biggest disappointments of the year. There are so many plot points that don't really portray the consistent character or relational dynamics that are likely to be found in the circumstances this movie presents - the movie comes across more like a script writer's fantasy than an authentic, compelling, and engaging movie. There are so many predictable, stereotypical subplots as well as loosely thought out script points that the movie betrays a sense of incredibility. The obvious emotive plot points designed to illicit audience sympathy only served to distance not involve the audience. An over-rated movie that uses various plot devices to project a political correct movie in the guise of being anti-establishment.
ఇవన్నే ప్రక్కన పెట్టేద్దాం. నేను చెప్పేది, అడిగేది ఒకటే... బిగెలో కి ఓన్ ఐడెంటిటీ ఇవ్వలేరా మీడియోకరోళ్ళు?
